The Shanghai Noodle Factory was an irreverent underground publication that was circulated within Bell High School in the early seventies. Everyone may not have appreciated the content. Some might have been offended. Needless to say, it was not sanctioned by the faculty or staff. Rather than "re-publish" editions of the SNF on the website, if we get enough of the issues, we might consider making them available as a memento at the Reunion. If you have any back issues of the SNF, let us know through our Contact Us page. |

Craig Watkins asked if we knew anything about audio series "Hairy Knuckles Private Eye And His Wonder Dog Vivian". Apparently it was broadcast throughout the school on the PA system every morning for four to six weeks in 1978 as a promotion to sell yearbooks. Do you remember it; and better still, do you have any archived audio of it? Drop us a note via the Contact Us page if you do. (The part of "Hairy" was played by Grant Morris. No word on Vivian!) |

School Colours The Bell High School colours used to be Brown and Gold, but were changed to Red, Black and White when a certain sports team couldn't find uniforms in the Brown and Gold colours. Brown and Gold are being brought back as school clothing is now being offered in both the "Retro" colours, as well as the current colours. Both are popular among the students and staff. |
