I would like to be kept up-to-date with the reunion plans as they're published. How can I get on the email list?
A
The best way to keep up-to-date and get on our email list is to go to the Who's Checked In? page, scroll down to and click on the Add Your Profile bar.
Yes, we plan to hold the reunion at the school. The Saturday evening Dinner & Dance, however, will be off site, at the Tudor Hall, 3750 North Bowesville Road (Old Pineland Site).
I noticed that my married name is in brackets but my maiden name is not. This doesn't appear to be correct, did I do something wrong?
A
You did nothing wrong. This is a protocol that has been chosen by the website designers for the "Who's Checked In?" page. The reasoning is that most people will know the ladies by their maiden name and not their married name, so it was decided that for this page, the maiden name should go first followed by the married name in brackets.
If I list my name on the website am I committed to buying tickets for the Reunion events?
A
No. Listing your name on the website does not commit you to any of the activities being planned for the Reunion. It's just a fun way to say hello to everyone and it also gives the Reunion Committee the information necessary to contact everyone with planning updates.
I didn't actually graduate from Bell High, so what do I put in the Graduation Year slot?
A
A couple of suggestions;
For students, we recommend the extrapolation technique to align yourself with the classmates in your class. For example: A student in Grade 9 from Sept. 1970 to June 1971 would graduate either from Grade 12 in June 1974, or from Grade 13 in 1975.
For Faculty/Staff, we recommend the year you retired or left Bell.
No, we will not be issuing tickets for these events. On Reunion Weekend, simply go to the Registration Desk and present your ID to pick up your Registration Package.
